About Your Therapist
Hi, I'm Lisa.
I provide a warm, welcoming space where you can slow down, talk things through, and feel supported at your own pace. Through Mind & Memory Counselling and Psychotherapy, my approach is calm, compassionate and personal, helping you feel safe, heard and understood.
I also specialise in supporting people who are living with the impact of dementia in their lives, whether that affects them personally or someone close to them.
I bring both professional training and wider life experience to my work as a therapist. I am a UKCP registered advanced MSc trainee psychotherapist with a Diploma in Counselling, and my previous 20-year international corporate career gives me a grounded understanding of the pressures, responsibilities, and competing demands that can shape people’s lives.
How I Work
My counselling and psychotherapy approach is grounded in Transactional Analysis. This is a way of understanding how our past experiences, relationships, and communication patterns shape our thoughts, feelings, and responses. It helps us make sense of recurring difficulties, build greater self-awareness, and understand ourselves more deeply.
I offer therapy in a calm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space, where you can talk openly and feel supported at your own pace. My role is to help you explore what is going on for you with warmth, care, and curiosity, so that together we can work towards greater understanding and meaningful change.
